The story talks about a man called Ichabod Crane who was a teacher in the small village of Sleepy Hollow.
Ichabod was fascinated by strange things and during the story we hear him talk about it and his disposition with Broom Bones and Katrina Van Tassel.
Plot summary of
 Sleepy Hollow:
During the rest of the story we are told about the legend of Sleepy Hollow. The gost of a soldier who had lost his head in battle, during the American Revolutionary War. Every night he wanders around looking for it.
At the end Ichabod disappears mysteriously after being attacked by the gost.

Strengths of
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow:
- And that no one investigated Ichabod's disappearance better.
- Ichabod's imagination to always let him believe in all the stories he is told;
Weaknesses of
The legend of Sleepy Hollow:
On the overall, the book is both fun and creepy. It's full of enthusiasm and imagination. There were parts of the the story that I didn't like very much, but the one that stucked in my head was the ball scene at the Van Tassel's when Ichabod can finally dance with Katrina.

I strongly  recommend it  !
