ICT vs IT
ICT is the more general term that describes everything that uses technological devices utilized for communication and information transfer.

IT, on the other hand, refers to the industry or the people who work with computers and technology in general such as computer engineers and technicians, programmers and more.
Belongingness Hypothesis
States that the people's primary psychological desire is to feel near to others; in fact, human conduct is largely shaped by the loving, caring attachments that come from personal relationships.

This becomes evident as people are more engaged in social media and internet usage, as these offer a way for the people to interact and make relationships.
