The clothes you own deserve to be loved. Get the most you can out of them and refabricate what you can!

Refabricate?
-use the fabric and pieces from old clothes to make new statement clothing

Utilize what you already own

Have an event, date, or celebration coming up?
Don't buy a new dress, borrow one from a friend! This will prevent contribution to fast fashion brands who offer cheap, last-minute items you think you might need.

Borrow clothes from friends or family

Trends force us to constantly want to revamp our closets. Swapping clothes at clothes swaps or amongst groups of people allows for new looks to enter your closet and no new purchases to be made at fast fashion sources.
Swap clothes with others

We shop at fast fashion stores because of how cheap the price is. 
Shopping at thrift stores offers clothing at affordable prices that are unique and only slightly used. 
By shopping at a thrift store you are not contributing to a fast fashion stores consumer rates which enable mass production of new products.

We all deserve to treat ourselves now and then. When you do choose to buy new clothes or accessories, research the stores you want to shop at. Choose shops that use organic materials and natural dyes, provide fair wages to workers, and properly dispose of factory waste.
