Why?
They were the last country still in the war of the Nazi side.

Drop 50,000 pounds of bombs on the capital of Germany, Berlin.

The japanese saw the bombs negatively as it killed houndreds of thousends of people and those injured would take a lot of time to recover.

Other countries and groups of people saw the bombs positivly as they were the main reason the war had ended.

Many people and physicists were afraid of it because of its explosion and radiation.
As it was more powerfull than the atomic bombs used in WWII.
