KAMPUNG TAMBIRAT 
Kampung Tambirat is a village that is located in Asajaya, Sarawak. It is located about 20 kilometers from Kuching, Sarawak. This village has a total population of 2978 people and 463 houses.
Kampung Tambirat is quite famous for 'belacan' that attracts people to come and buy. Besides that, this village is also famous for its fresh seafood.
Kampung Tambirat is divided into 4 small villages namely:
Kampung Tambirat Ulu
Kampung Tambirat Hilir
Kampung Tambirat Lot
Kampung Tambirat Tengah
We have chosen Kampung Tambirat Tengah as our field study area.

According to the villagers, they must purchase their own WiFi to have a reliable internet connection because the line in the village area is quite slow.

They utilise their own vehicles or share rides with others because Kampung Tambirat Tengah is a small village and public transport, such as buses and rental vans like Grab and Maxim, rarely enters.
No sepArate  medical facility is present
The clinic is shared with another village and is quite far, requiring vehicle to get there
Suggestions to Improve the Condition of the Village
Improve The Drainage System
Kampung Tambirat is said to have a weak drainage system due to frequent flooding when it rains heavily. therefore, the village people's opinion to solve the problem is to ensure that the drainage system is further improved.
Resurfacing Roads In The Village
Poor road conditions such as potholed and narrow roads make it difficult for villagers to move to one place while also causing danger to road users.
Suggestions For Village Development
Build a River Ford
The problem of soil erosion is one of the problems faced in Kampung Tambirat due to the situation in the village next to the river so the villagers suggest that by building a river ford in the form of elongated walls they can
prevent erosion and to control the water level of the river
Free Internet Access
Previously, internet connection was available to villagers for an additional charge. Therefore, the locals are expecting to have free internet access.
Conclusion
In general, enhancing the village is crucial for ensuring the welfare of its citizens, encouraging economic development, protecting cultural assets, and building sustainable and healthy communities. It necessitates a comprehensive plan that includes infrastructure development, accessibility to essential services, education, health care, and community engagement. The locals are hoping to raise the level of living for future generations.
