The National HEFT programme is an enhanced educational programme for doctors training to be GPs in England. Doctors can select this programme during GP recruitment. It is designed to prepare doctors training to be GPs to gain a deeper understanding of health inequalities and how to work more effectively to meet the needs of patients in inclusion health groups.
