There are times when teaching can produce pure joy, when both you and your students share in discovery!
There are times when teaching can produce pure joy, when both you and your students share in discovery!
Other times, what started out as a brilliant plan of engagement becomes silence and blank stares.
At what point did it go so wrong?
"The subjects we teach are as LARGE and complex as life, so our knowledge of them is always flawed and partial."
We must know who we are and what we stand for before we can truly know our students!
WHAT?
We teach who we are! If I don't know myself, do I know who you are?
Am I a good teacher?
What makes a great teacher?
They love what they teach. They show us what they are passionate about. The want to know what we're passionate about. 
If you don't know what you stand for, how can you support who I am?
When I combine my intellect, emotion and spirit, my teaching is authentic.

When we present who we are as a whole, our students feel safe enough to do the same!
The Connectedness from teacher to subject to student is ESSENTIAL!
Students know when you are faking excitement!
