Statement of Purpose

The Statement of Purpose is your written 250 word statement about why you want to participate on the program you've selected.

You will be provided the essay prompt in MyUCR Abroad to write your statement.

Once you complete your application, click to SUBMIT your MyUCR Abroad application.

The non-refundable deposit ($300) is credited to your program fees and tuition. It is required to process your application and reserve a spot in the program based on a "first-come, first-served" basis. If you are a financial aid student and expect to have grants and loans cover part or all of the program fees, you are still required to submit the $300 non-refundable deposit.

Submit to Student Business Services

Once notified by the UCR Education Abroad Office, you will submit  your payment to Student Business Services (SBS).
If you are a financial aid student and expect to have grants and loans cover part or all of the program fee, you are still required to submit the $300 non-refundable deposit.
