School Teacher to Use Powtoon as the Go-To Presentation Format
One of recent content winners was so very glad to win a Powtoon Professional license. Jon Smith is the Technology Resource Teacher for Alliance High School. In his spare time, Jon teaches a class on engaging technologies for The Communicate Institute. You can tell he is one of the coolest teachers around just by watching this Powtoon he made (below). He is quite active on Twitter – You can follow him at @theipodteacher
Here is what Jon has to say:
“My name is Jon Smith. I was a special education teacher for 12 years. I am currently a technology resource teacher for Alliance City Schools. I spend my days helping teachers and students incorporate technology into the classroom ( I LOVE technology). If my paycheck could be direct deposited into an Apple store I would be a happy camper – The only problem with that is I wouldn’t be able to pay my mortgage! I am married and we have a 2 year old son which does not stand in the way of my love of golf ( I play an average 100-150 rounds per year).”
“I plan on using Powtoon as my go-to presentation format. I have used Powtoon to do many trainings with teachers. I always have to start my presentations with something fun and I have found Powtoon to be very engaging with teachers and students.”
Jon made a “thank you” Powtoon after his win (below). You are very welcome Jon!
And here is one last Powtoon we want to share. Jon made this for his classroom, it really helps get the message across.
